This Privacy Policy explains how MMALI Financial Services LLC d/b/a WagePress ("WagePress," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, protects, and retains information when individuals, businesses, employees, contractors, accountants, administrators, and authorized users access or use the WagePress websites, applications, APIs, payroll tools, tax filing services, payment-related workflows, integrations, support channels, and related services.

  • Account and identity information, including names, emails, phone numbers, usernames, roles, credentials, and authentication records.
  • Business and tax information, including legal names, DBA names, EINs, addresses, authorized representatives, beneficial ownership details, state registrations, agency account numbers, tax form information, and payroll setup data.
  • Employee, contractor, and payee information, including names, addresses, Social Security numbers or taxpayer identification numbers, compensation, bank account details, time records, employment status, deductions, benefits, and tax elections.
  • Banking and payment information needed to support payroll funding, ACH debits, direct deposits, contractor payments, refunds, reversals, chargebacks, verification, fraud prevention, and Moov-enabled payment workflows.
  • Integration data imported from authorized third-party systems, including accounting, payroll, time tracking, bank, tax, and document platforms.
  • Device, usage, log, cookie, analytics, fraud-prevention, support, and communications data.

  • Provide, operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.
  • Create and administer accounts, authenticate users, manage permissions, and maintain audit trails.
  • Calculate payroll, prepare reports, support payroll tax workflows, transmit tax forms, process ACH and direct deposit transactions, and support customer-selected integrations.
  • Verify business identity, bank accounts, beneficial owners, sanctions status, fraud risk, and eligibility for payment-related services.
  • Communicate about onboarding, support, security, billing, filings, deadlines, service updates, and legal notices.
  • Comply with legal, tax, employment, payment-network, anti-fraud, recordkeeping, and regulatory obligations.

effect 3. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers and partners that help us provide the Services, including cloud hosting providers, payment processors, Moov and its financial institution partners, banking partners, payroll and tax infrastructure providers, fraud and identity verification providers, customer support tools, analytics providers, and authorized integrations.

We may also disclose information to government agencies, tax authorities, courts, regulators, auditors, financial institutions, payment networks, or law enforcement when required or appropriate to comply with law, enforce agreements, protect rights, investigate fraud, or maintain security.

Business customers are responsible for obtaining all required notices, consents, authorizations, and permissions from employees, contractors, payees, administrators, and other data subjects before submitting their information to WagePress. WagePress processes such information to provide services at the customer's direction, subject to applicable law and the applicable agreements.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and customers must maintain secure credentials, access controls, and internal procedures.

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal and tax retention obligations, resolve disputes, support audits, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain business records, and satisfy regulatory requirements. Retention periods may differ depending on data category and applicable law.

Depending on your location and relationship to WagePress, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of certain personal information. Requests may be submitted to privacy@wagepress.com. We may verify your identity and deny requests where retention or processing is required by law, tax obligations, security obligations, payroll administration, payment processing, dispute resolution, or contractual obligations.
