11011 Richmond Ave, Suite 711, Houston, TX 77042
This 1099 E-Filing Authorization applies when Customer uses MMALI Financial Services LLC d/b/a WagePress to prepare, generate, transmit, electronically file, correct, or manage IRS Forms 1099 and related information returns through WagePress.
1. Authorization to Transmit
Customer authorizes WagePress and its service providers to use Customer-provided payer, recipient, tax, amount, address, account, withholding, and form data to generate and transmit supported information returns to the IRS, state agencies, and other authorized recipients through available electronic filing systems, including IRS IRIS A2A where enabled.
2. Supported Forms
Supported forms may include 1099-NEC, 1099-MISC, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, and other supported forms, depending on platform availability, IRS and state requirements, form year, customer eligibility, agency acceptance, and service configuration.
3. Customer Responsibility
- Determine whether a filing is required and which form, box, amount, tax year, payer, recipient, and withholding information is correct.
- Obtain and retain W-9s, recipient consents, taxpayer identification numbers, and supporting payment records.
- Review all forms and reports before submission.
- Distribute recipient copies by required deadlines unless WagePress expressly provides recipient delivery services.
- Respond to IRS or state notices, corrections, backup withholding requirements, B-notices, penalties, and audits.
4. State Filing
Combined Federal/State Filing or other state transmission functionality may not satisfy every state, local, or recipient-delivery obligation. Customer remains responsible for determining and completing all state, local, and territorial filing and distribution requirements.
5. Rejections, Corrections, and Amendments
Government acceptance only indicates that a submission passed certain technical or business-rule validations; it does not confirm legal accuracy. Rejections, corrections, amendments, duplicate filings, wrong-tax-year filings, invalid TIN/name combinations, and state-specific issues may require additional action and fees. Customer is responsible for penalties, interest, or losses caused by Customer information or timing.
6. No Professional Advice
WagePress does not determine taxability, worker classification, backup withholding obligations, or legal reporting obligations. Customer should consult qualified tax advisors.
